Small starry pastell colour bag

This is the last piece of my “pastel bag” series which available for purchase. I made this classic small bag using the wet felting technique. I carried out technical experiments with a material used in felting that was new to me. I have developed a production method where colours and motifs appear in subtle shades. On this bag, the pale yellow material subtly obscures the layers below, creating an ashen surface. The detailed mosaic-like motif underneath gently passes through the top layer. Its surface is not prickly and hairy, on the contrary, it is smooth and silky. The material is strong. There is a small card pocket inside. It closes with a magnetic lock. I decorated the cover with a fine gold embroidery star.

Csillagos pasztell kistáska

Ezt a formáját tekintve klasszikus kistáskát nedves nemezelési technikával készítettem. Technikai kísérleteket végeztem egy számomra új nemezelésnél használt anyaggal. Kidolgoztam egy olyan gyártási módszert, ahol a színek és a motívumok finom árnyalatokban jelennek meg. Ezen a táskán a halvány sárga anyag finoman eltakarja az alatta lévő rétegeket, hamvas felületet hozva létre. Az alatta lévő aprólékos mozaikszerű motívum finoman átsejlik a fedőrétegen. Felülete nem szúrós és szőrös, éppen ellenkezőleg, sima és selymes. Anyaga erős. Belül egy kis lapzseb található. Mágneszárral záródik. A fedlapon található csillagot finom arany hímzéssel díszítettem.
